What does the practice name mean?

We created the name of our counseling and psychotherapy practice to convey our strengths-focused orientations and our determination to achieve practical benefits for/with our clients.

Both accept private pay; Medicare; and are pleased to provide invoice documentation to support clients' efforts to secure insurance reimbursement. They are also willing to negotiate fees, based on individual circumstances and times available for appointments.

Each therapist has a unique fee structure for a 50-60 minute service hour (and possible travel fee, for Amy). Both offer weekday, evening and weekend appointments. Call for details.

Memberships

Both Amy & Meredith are members of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and Metro Atlanta Therapists' Network (MATN) http://matn.info/. Meredith is also a member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation (ISSTD) and the Valor Institute.

Meredith also is fluent in American Sign Language, which means that she can work with Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients without a third party paid interpreter.
